The Tuilagi Brothers

Hi Freddie

I just wanted to say how much Angus is loving your course. He’s worn out and filthy so a very good sign of a great day.

Nicole Martin

Freddie,

Massive thanks from Oscar, he has had a fantastic three days being coached by you at Boston RFC as part of the Tuilagi Rugby Skills camp. He has been worked really hard but has enjoyed every minute. It was also great to watch you coach a mixed age group of lads from 9 to 15, well done that’s no easy task.

Thanks again,

Mark Shields (Oscar’s Dad)

Hi Freddie Tuilagi

I would like to take this opportunity in thanking you for the 3 day course you have put on at Boston RFC. You have coached my 8 year old Ollie Despicht and several of my U13's over the last three day's. On dropping off Ollie and watching him mix with the older boys on the course I can honestly say that this is what rugby is all about. Every night over the last three days Ollie has not stopped talking about rugby mixing with the older boys and you. Again I would just like to thank you form being in my eyes a roll model for the next generation of players.

Regards

Mark Despicht

Freddie

Dear Freddie,

Thanks so much for the last 3 days- my boys, James & Harry thoroughly enjoyed it. As a teacher myself, I was impressed how focused they were for the full 3 days & how much they learnt.

To Freddie and the superb coaches,

Thank you for the four day course you put on at Harbury RFC in July 2011. My son, Tom (who had never previously tried rugby) had a wonderful experience, coming away from each day with a sense of fulfillment and an appreciation of the coaching he had received. As a group of coaches, he could not have wished for better: patience, expertise and the experience of having played at the highest levels make for a tremendous combination. It was also very inspirational for him to be working alongside people he had seen in various video clips online!

The set up of each day showed a great understanding of how to prepare the players, yet also seemed to appreciate how their different levels of experience and age would dictate what could be achieved towards the end. Certainly Tom left the field each day with a smile on his face but a sense of having worked hard.

Above all, thank you for engendering in all the players what the spirit of rugby is about. Whilst "big hits" are a part of professional rugby, it is the camaraderie within the game of rugby that sets it apart. Whether it was Freddie's war dance or the players relaxing together, it was clear that the right attitude pervaded the course.

All the best,

Warren Honey

Best wishes for the future, Freddie.

You are a true gent and I hope the TRS continues to thrive.

Freddie

I just wanted to say what a great job you & the guys did. Edward and his mates are on a high & are keenly anticipating the new season. They will have lasting memories of this week & will hopefully, be able to apply many of the new tips / your experiences.

Thank you & until next time.

Best Wishes

Simon Perkin

Dear Freddie & the Tuilagi team at Harbury RFC

May we say a massive thank you to you all for providing Lucas (and all the other boys) with such an inspirational, highly enjoyable and well disciplined week.

The rest of the summer holidays is just not going to live up to this fantastic experience. Lucas has been totally animated and completely positive throughout.

Lucas is so hoping that you will able to run a summer camp next year too...he would like to sign up today!

Very best wishes to you all: enjoy a great summer!

Sally & Michael Mann

My son attended the Tuilagi training course at Hinckley RFC in June. He had an absolutely amazing time, gaining confidence, skills and knowledge about how best to improve his game and fitness. He has already asked if he can join the next course in the area which is during the summer holidays and has not stopped talking about the many coaches and players they had the privelidge of meeting and asking questions. Freddie was the main coach, who my son looked up to. He was professional, friendly and fun for the children of all ages. They all seemed to respect Freddie and individually went up to thank him for a great week at the end of the BBQ on the final day. Most definately a course well worth joining!

Hi Freddie and the team,

Sending Stephen to you rugby skills course proved to be a great investment, there has been a positive change in his attitude to healthier eating and in the importance of quality rest. He has learned about confidence and commitment and this has had a positive impact on his performance at swimming and atheletics competitions. I can't wait until the rugby season kicks off to see the improvements the course has had on his rugby. Stephen said " it was hard work, but I loved it." We will be in contact regarding a course in the summer.

Many Thanks.

John Farrell.

My son Morgan lives for his rugby - I was told by a friend whose two son's had just been on Freddies course at Princethorpe School that it was the best money he had spent in a long while and thought Morgan would love it. Well I booked him in and from the end of day one I knew I had done the right thing.

He could not wait for the next day ( every day ) and did not want the four days to end.

Team Tuilagi have a great understanding of how to get players to retain information by making their learning 100% fun and safe. It was not just about the game but safety and nutrition also.

Morgan will be going again - I would highly recommend this course for any player who wants to develop their rugby skills to a higher level.

We would like to thank Freddie for the sessions he ran at our school.  They were very professionally ran and were greatly enjoyed by all of the pupils involved no matter whether they had played rugby or not as they were pitched in such a way as to appeal to all abilities.  It was extremely valuable to have someone of Freddie’s expertise leading the sessions with the pupils.  As a result the attendance at our schools rugby team has increased massively.  I would highly recommend the sessions to other schools looking to introduce or develop rugby in their schools.

Matt Chamberlain

Limehurst High School

I thought that the session was amazing because getting taught by an ex-professional rugby player was really exciting.  He could explain things well and show us how to do things properly!

Ahmed Al-Jaf

Pupil Limehurst High School

The session was really good fun.  Freddie was very helpful and I have decided to take up rugby as a result of the course.

Dylan Thomas

Pupil Limehurst High School

The rugby session was really good because it is not something that we do everyday, especially with an ex-professional player.

When my son came home and told me about a 4 days rugby workshop during the Easter holidays, I thought: 'not some more money!!' But then again he loves rugby so much I had to say yes. It was the best money ever spent on him! He loved his days mixing with the 'real deal', playing rugby and learning new skills of the game. He enjoyed the banter, the atmosphere and the team work and he wished the workshop could have lasted longer. So...may I congratulate you in providing a fun, educational and unforgettable experience for my son and please let us know about future workshops. Kind regards

Just a very quick note to express my heartfelt thanks for looking after Harry this past 4 days - he has thoroughly enjoyed the course, is buzzing with his experience with you this week and has come home completely knackered! His steak awaits tomorrow!

Your knowledge, passion and pride has been ably demonstrated, even in the little I watched and you are a credit to your profession - the entire TRS team have been very friendly, attentive and inspirational to their students. You have been the complete gentleman - thank you very much.

I would certainly have no hesitation in recommending your course and am sure Harry will be back for more!

Well done & best of luck with your future courses

Kind regards

Dear Freddie, well where can I begin, in a word brilliant!!! Jack has been on several courses before and this in his words the best he has ever experienced. Professional coaching what with yourself Eugene and Heather, was excellent, great structure in all aspects i.e. fitness nutrition and well being. Jack felt comfortable with the whole group thus giving him time to develop and enjoy, he felt part of something as apposed to just being taught new skills. Jack really enjoyed the whole experience came away from the course inspired and focused, and can't wait to apply what he has learnt when he is next playing for his club.

We would like to congratulate you and your team for a inspirational four days and wish you every success in the future.

Kind regards

My son, Simon, attended the Tuilagi Rugby Skills course at Princethorpe College in April 2011 and I just wanted to write and say thank you to Freddie and the team for running such a brilliant course. From 9 o'clock Monday morning when I dropped Simon off to Thursday afternoon when the course finished the enthusiasm and passion for the game was clear to see.

The days were long and the weather was hot but the students still had a great time - from talks on team work, skills training, nutrition talks and individual advice from the team and guest coach, Harry Ellis, Simon had the most amazing time and his enthusiasm for the game has grown. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend a Tuilagi Rugby Skills course - from the booking system, to admin on the day to the actual training and pastoral care it was first class. Well done Freddie - a brilliant concept and may I wish you lots of luck for your future courses. No doubt Simon will be joining you on another course one day.

Many thanks for all your support and encouragement.

With best wishes

Katie Fisher

Total Rugby enjoyment is the best way to describe a Tuilagi Rugby Skills course. Freddie's

experience and knowledge of coaching and playing at the very highest levels, is expertly woven into a structured programme from which it is impossible not to emerge a better player.

The enthusiasm of all the coaches is infectious. Through this they teach not only a whole range of new skills and techniques to improve rusty ones, but, a love of Rugby and its culture of Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship. My two boys of 11 and 17, left the course as better players, with smiles

on their faces, many new friends and tales of playing with rugby legends.

Andrew Hunt

Coach Harbury RFC U12's

Freddie came to Warren Hills in Jan/Feb 2011 to coach rugby. All the sessions were an inspiration because the children had such a lot of fun while learning specific skills at the same time. Freddie was coaching a group of 30 mixed aged Primary children all with very different abilities.

Despite this he was able to structure the activities in such a way that everybody got invoved and learn't something new each week. When watching you could feel Freddie's great knowledge and love of the game flowing through the sessions. At the end of the programme two children were chosen to go forward for further coaching with the "Tuilagi Rugby Skills Elite Group".

They also received a pair of new boots. Both children and parents commented on the great success of the programme. Freddie came across not only as a rugby legend but also as a true gentleman who obviously enjoys sharing his love of the game with young people. We all loved having him here.
